Job Overview:

The supply chain coordinator is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing all supply distribution activities within Surgical Procedure Area.

Job Qualifications:

Required

• High School Diploma required

Preferred

• Supervisory experience preferred
• Healthcare supply chain operations experience preferred
• Valid NJ Drives License preferred.

Scheduling requirements:

• Full Time days

Essential Functions:

• The supply chain coordinator supervises assigned supply chain staff.
• Manages OR Storeroom inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory cost.
• Facilities and expedites the flow of materials to and from Suppliers various Departments and other Medical Centers as needed.
• Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered good match Purchase orders specifications.
• Responsible for managing product demand and inventory levels using PAR tools to ensure product availability while minimizing inventory expenses.
• Works with Clinical Resource Directors and Supply Chain OR Manager to secure approval on all new and different item requests prior to requisitioning.
• Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, and initiatives,
• Assist manager with identifying areas of improvement and creates a plan to address them.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all systems and equipment used in the department.
• Supervises personnel functions for direct reports including training to achieve maximum staff productivity using automated systems to reduce expenses.
• Ensures direct reports are observing all organizational and department policies and procedures,
