As an Implementation Consultant under the CApS (Cloud Application Services) Team, you will have the opportunity to be part of the DISW (Digital Industry Software) practice. Contributing to delivering and/or supporting the designed solution for our global customer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring proactive communication with clients and internal staff, developing and managing minor and/or major technical enhancement requirements (e.g., implementation/installation, configuration, testing, deployment, production support, post-production support), and escalating. You will also provide technical, business, consulting, and product expertise to customers and advise on a comprehensive solution.
Work as a key member of the Global Projects Team for support, implementation, and/or deployments.
Work collaboratively with a small team and/or as an individual contributor. Self-manage daily routine assignments/projects and supervise new scopes lightly.
Consistently follow and apply methodologies, PLM/ALM best practices, Change Management, and compliance practices and policies.
Support on implementation projects along with the technical scope.
Perform IT Service Management activities described by the ITIL Methodology: L2/L3 ticket Management, Triage, RCA, Troubleshooting, Escalation, and Documentation (KMDB).
Provide workarounds to issues based on technical experience, lessons learned, and process documentation.
Engage with SMEs and support areas for product issues and incident request management. Contribute to the documentation of standards, processes, and policies related to the deployment of technical solutions.
Actively maintain your knowledge of the latest technical and industry trends and transfer knowledge into innovative solution practices and best practices.
Qualifications:
As a Siemens Implementation Consultant, you are a technical resource implementing solutions while building strong relationships with project teams and customers, helping them realize their industry vision. This position requires excellent skills in interpersonal communications, process improvement, and software configuration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or other technical discipline.
2+ years of practical experience in Software Development or Production support. Prior working experience in engineering and manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
Availability to support different rotations (not night), weekend coverage when needed, support on local holidays if required.
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, work with small teams, and be a great team player.
Polarion Technical Skills (would be an added advantage)
Polarion installation & Configuration
Working experience with web applications, client-server architecture
Good understanding of digital engineering and manufacturing IT Systems around ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, LIMS, WMS, Automation, and other Enterprise Systems.
Proficiency in the following technical skills:
Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure (SaaS).
Intermediate Unix knowledge (shell, bash).
Scripting knowledge would be useful
Programming language experience desirable.
Database experience desirable.
Windows Server, Unix/Linux, Virtualization.
ITIL Certified, SLA/SLO, ServiceNow, DataDog, Jira, Git, SVN version control.
o Distributed FMS configuration ITIL Certified, SLA/SLO, ServiceNow, DataDog, Jira, Git, SVN version control.
Other Mandatory Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Loves solving problems
Has a systematic way to solve problems.
Should be able to perform root cause analysis and arrive at the correct solution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Learning attitude – willing to learn new things.
Use Pareto or 5 Why or any other Industry technique for root cause analysis (RCA)
Ability to automate some of the tasks
