Pay Range: $ 30.65 -$37.58 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Assumes responsibility for providing technical assistance in the environment of the operating room. Assists nursing and surgical staff with direct patient care activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program or equivalent

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certification by the Association of Surgery Technologists

Essential Functions:

• Assists in the delivery of quality patient care through utilization of technical skills.
• Performs technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including smooth, precise, and efficient reaction to all situations, and assists with departmental work as assigned.
• Plans and evaluates care provided.
• Participates in staff, patient and/or family education to a degree consistent with personal knowledge base.
• Participates in unit PI activities.

Scheduling Requirements:

• 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Alternating Weekends
• Full Time
• 40 Weekly Standard Hours
