Systems Administrator Level IV

• Contingent upon the successful contract award to ASRC Federal

We are currently seeking a System Administrator – Level IV to work San Antonio, TX. The System Administrator – Level IV shall perform the following:

• Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware.
• Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms.
• Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems.
• Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms.
• Performs infrastructure platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained.
• May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of infrastructure hardware and software products.
• Level IV performs more independent thinking, complex tasks with little to no supervision compared to a Level III, and may supervise others.

Requirements

• At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), and/or GIAC Certified Incident Handler Certification (GCIH)
• Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency
• Master’s degree and/or equivalency
• U.S. Citizen and SECRET clearance required
