We are currently seeking a Technical Lead – Data Engineering to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

This is a hybrid position so onsite minimum 3 days Tues/Wed/Thurs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data processing architectures using Databricks.
• Write python code, pyspark notebooks and Azure Cloud, Configure Databricks clusters and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Make strategic decisions regarding data organization, storage, and processing.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and data scientists.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the team’s success.
• Oversee the implementation of data processing workflows, analytics, and machine learning models using Databricks

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ yrs of experience with expertise in data engineering and analytics
• Apache Spark, Pyspark and Databricks architecture.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python or Scala.
• Data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Technical Lead experience with a focus on Databricks and big data technologies
• Azure Cloud Platform

Education:

• B.S. degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
