Overview

The C5I Platform Integration team is responsible for the successful integration of government furnished and shipbuilder developed command and control systems within the submarine platform.

Candidates will be required to:

    Analyze, develop, and review requirements and verification plans for systems and platform development
  • Support development and maintenance of platform-level architecture concepts and systems engineering activities including trade studies that require multi-discipline integration to identify solutions which optimize the design based on normal, casualty and maintenance operations, construction cost and schedule, life cycle cost, and all applicable technical and programmatic requirements.
  • Provide concept-to-production engineering support for various electrical and electronic hardware components.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years submarine operational or construction experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current secret level clearance or ability to obtain one through the Department of Defense

Preferred:

  • US Navy submarine experience involving the operation and maintenance of Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems (NPES).
  • Experience with Electric Boat Design, Engineering and Construction processes


Skills

  • Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong inter-personal, organizational and communication skills to successfully drive to achieve the program goals.
  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative solutions to complex problems is highly desirable.
  • Beneficial skills include technical facilitation, project management, earned value management, and familiarity with current design tools and processes.
  • Strong problem solving skills
