Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • experience with training course management and planning.
  • Ability to review training records electronically as well as create proactive training plans.
  • Ability to quickly absorb product knowledge, process information, and apply appropriately.
  • Experience with training course evaluations, including managing course surveys and collecting and analyzing feedback.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, hands on, organized with strong ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate training activities: Schedule and organize training sessions, ensuring availability of trainers, training materials, and facilities.
  • Act as a liaison to our Client Personnel and departments as needed and appropriate.

DPSST Refresher Course Instruction

  • Lead and facilitate DPSST refresher courses for current security officers.

CPR Training

  • Conduct CPR training sessions for security personnel, ensuring all officers maintain current certification.
  • Organize hands-on practice and periodic re-certification opportunities.
  • Maintain records of CPR training completion and expiration dates.

General Security Training

  • Develop and deliver additional security training modules as required and provided by the client (e.g., emergency response, incident reporting).
  • Update training materials to reflect evolving threats and best practices.

Program Management

  • Monitor and track employee progress and development through training programs, providing guidance and support to individuals as needed. Schedule and coordinate training sessions across multiple shifts and locations.
  • Collaborate with site leads and global security teams to ensure consistent standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate training effectiveness: Conduct post-training evaluations to measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback from participants, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Update training materials: Review and update training materials, manuals, and resources to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
  • Stay abreast of compliance and legal requirements and ensure that training programs adhere to applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and industry standards. Maintaining knowledge of specific FCS contractual training obligations.
