Treasury & Licensing Director

The Treasury & Licensing Director is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all treasury functions and regulatory licensing activities across our hotel properties and corporate operations. This role acts as the primary point of contact for bank account setup, treasury initiatives, merchant service challenges, and ensures the financial infrastructure is optimally structured to support operational success.

The Director is also charged with implementing and maintaining secure and efficient bank integrations with NetSuite, ensuring accurate financial data flows, and managing online banking access. In addition, the role ensures the organization maintains proper business registrations and compliance in all jurisdictions where Hotel Equities currently operates or plans to operate, including Sales & Use Tax and Secretary of State registrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury & Banking Operations

  • Lead all bank account setup and maintenance for hotel properties and corporate entities.
  • Driving treasury initiatives, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.
  • Resolve merchant services issues and serve as liaison with payment processors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee the onboarding and maintenance of bank feeds into NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate online banking access, ensuring appropriate internal controls and user permissions.

Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate business registration with Secretary of State offices in all active and target states.
  • Maintain compliance with Sales & Use Tax requirements in all jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and operations teams to assess new market entry requirements.
  • Monitor and renew all licenses and registrations proactively, avoiding lapses or penalties.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred.
  • Experience with hospitality or multi-entity corporate environments is highly preferred.
  • Five (5) years of treasury management, banking operations, and/or licensing compliance. experience.
  • Strong familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, especially related to bank integration.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, cash management systems, and merchant services.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

The salary for this role is $120K – $140K, based on experience.
