Payroll Specialist – Construction On-Site Full-Time
Vaco is partnering with a respected construction company seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in Union and Certified Payroll. This role supports the Director of Payroll and ensures timely and compliant payroll processing for 300 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up new hires and process payroll, including Union and Certified Payrolls
- Union Payroll
- Handle time entry, reconciliation, layoffs, and missed timesheets
- Submit reports via LCP Tracker, eMars, and OCIP/CCIP portals
- Manage unemployment/disability claims and PTO tracking
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and ensure accurate compliance reporting
Qualifications:
- 3 years of in-house payroll experience
- Construction or related industry background
- Familiarity with prevailing wage, LCP Tracker, and high-volume payroll
- Strong organizational, Excel, and communication skills
