Union Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist – Construction On-Site Full-Time

Vaco is partnering with a respected construction company seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in Union and Certified Payroll. This role supports the Director of Payroll and ensures timely and compliant payroll processing for 300 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new hires and process payroll, including Union and Certified Payrolls
• Union Payroll
• Handle time entry, reconciliation, layoffs, and missed timesheets
• Submit reports via LCP Tracker, eMars, and OCIP/CCIP portals
• Manage unemployment/disability claims and PTO tracking
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and ensure accurate compliance reporting

Qualifications:

• 3 years of in-house payroll experience
• Construction or related industry background
• Familiarity with prevailing wage, LCP Tracker, and high-volume payroll
• Strong organizational, Excel, and communication skills
