We’re seeking a unique blend of skills in a curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented UX Designer I to join our growing User experience team. This role, which is entry-level and ideal for someone with a strong foundation in UX principles and a passion for understanding users through research, offers the opportunity to work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to shape intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Support and conduct user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field studies
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user problems and explore design solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas.
- Assist in maintaining and evolving our design system and UX documentation
- Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years of experience in UX design or research (internships and academic projects count!)
- A portfolio that demonstrates a user-centered design process, especially in research and problem definition
- Familiarity with research methods and tools (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys)
- Basic proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn from feedback and new challenges
- Strong creative problem-solving skills, with a passion for solving complex problems.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams
- Exposure to accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Interest in data analysis or behavioral science
